well after 2 previous mediocore attempts at filmmaking (Little Judy, Tappin') comes a ray of light.

cast
during antioch i figured out that my 2 stars were Ashley and Joey. both liked the script and agreed, much to the disappointment of leah and her tap shoes. well 2 days before principal photography joey cancels. oh noes. next ~~victim~~ choice: keiffer! but he had a wrestling tournament. fuck. hey...that sophomore in drama class could work. thus tommy got the role.

principal photography
shooting went down on the campus of our beloved pace. the fact that it was somewhat cloudy worked great for the lighting. and nobody screamed at us for being out by the forest. *woot* ashley and tommy were much easier to work with than my sister and her tap shoes.

the future
i hope to remake this into a film with no dialogue and just music for the miami childrens museum film festival next year, in the music video category. that will involve the original idea and joey will play the role written for him. this version will be up on youtube next week, with a minute of bloopers including the deleted "baywatch scene"

so far i think this one is my best one yet. i only hope novela agrees.

well i was so bored yesterday i wrote an entire short film. go me. Eddy's gonna help me with my directorial/acting debut. ("is it may 19th yet?" doesn't count cuz it was such a piece of crap)the story: the Author(Joey? Larry?)finds himself trapped inside the world he created in the novel he's writing. the only way to get out is destroy the Villainess(myself). it's a bit of a mindfuck but i actually have high hopes for this one. preproduction has begun. the shoot is hopefully to go down on may 24th and should take about 3-5 hours. postproduction should take 2 weeks. i'm projecting the release date at june 24, so you guys can watch lucidity the night before.lol.

curtain call is still in drafting process. no word on when preproduction will start.

hey everyone. the fic is going to be on hiatus (it kind of already was)for a little longer. well right now i'm writing a full-lentgh film. so yeah. more behind the cut!

ok interesting story.

october wasn't exactly the best month for me. schedule was out of control. problems with friends. being fed up with the world. broken heart. and finally wilma.
wilma caused most of south florida alot of strife especially me. but one good thing came out of my boredom. a movie idea...so all the crap i went through came together and actually became what could be my breakthrough as a screenwriter. fucking weird eh?

origianlly titled "unfinished", the movie tells the story of a young struggling actress. and i type struggling i mean struggling. it's actually a mix of comedy, romance, drama, and musical(?). yeah musical deal with it. (it's actually a scene with a play that's all)

Before I go on, I must first tell of the Order of Elements.(AN: in no way related to the order of the phoenix and/or the periodic table of elements)The order is made up of individuals who use the power of certain elements (e.g. fire and water) for the power of good. These individuals, however, are not gods as they were thought to be many years ago. They are mortals like most lifeforms in the universe.

This tale is linked to another famous story. I believe I won't have to explain the story of Frodo Baggins and the One Ring. If you are not familiar I suggest you read a retelling of that story by a man named J.R.R. Tolkien.

Those who know the tale should be familiar with Aragorn, son of Arathorn. He is how these stories are linked.

You see, his daughter was in the Order of Elements. She recieved her power form the stars.....

I can't count how many times I've heard this story being told. With every retelling it grows more into fantasy. And that's exactly what I thought it was. A fantasy. Nothing more than a fairy tale passed around the galaxy by space gypsies. Nothing more...

Until...I met him. He told me everything. Those who lived through it and I were the only ones who knew the truth. But they are all gone. He is gone. I am left alone to tell the story, as it was, which in truth is almost exactly like the one told around the galaxy, except for a few exagerations.

I thought it was all a fairy tale. I thought it would have nothing to do with me.

I was wrong...
